Artist, comedian, and New Jersey native Craig Mahoney was born and raised down the Jersey Shore, and has called Jersey City home for the last two and a half years. He first started drawing at the age of three, and first took the stage to perform stand-up at fourteen. He had his first solo art show in October of 2009 in Red Bank, NJ, and in April 2013 founded and organized the first ever Jersey City Comedy Festival, the largest event of it’s kind in the state of New Jersey. In May 2013, his Calvin and Hobbes inspired painting “Hello, Old Friend” became a viral sensation when it was the most popular article on the Huffington Post for two days in a row. He currently produces a number of comedy shows throughout New Jersey, and lives and works out of his home in the Jersey City Heights with his dog Mickey.
