Hey, kids! I’m raffling off my original “Agent Of Chaos” Joker painting!!!
1st prize is the original 36″ x 24″ acrylic on canvas painting, 2nd prize is a signed 11″ x 17″ “Agent Of Chaos” print along with signed prints of my “Bat, Cat, Clown, and Car” triptych, and, for the 3rd prize… EVERY entry gets a signed “Agent Of Chaos” print.
Chances are $25 each, and the winner will be chosen at random next Fri night, 3/2 at 8pm.
The painting alone is worth 100 times that, and the print would cost at least $20 plus shipping anyway. So, either way, it’s a great deal. All proceeds to go to my landlord and my fiancee’s birthday. Just email email@example.com to enter. And, here… we… GO!*
*Important note: The winner will have to pay for shipping on the painting if it can’t be picked up or delivered, and a minimum of 30 tickets must be sold for the raffle to take place. If not, each contestant will have the choice of having their money refunded or just getting a print.
Between now and Wed I’m reducing the prices on all my Star Wars art and prints. I’m also raffling off my original 24″ x 36″ “Lord Vader” painting for only $10 a chance! Here’s the details:
FIRST PRIZE – “LORD VADER” 24″ x 36″ acrylic on canvas.
SECOND PRIZE – An original 8″ x 10″ drawing and a signed print
THIRD PRIZE – A signed print
ALL CONTESTANTS receive a hi-res file of one of my pics to do with as you please.
WINNER WILL BE DRAWN WEDNESDAY MORNING using a random name generator

Hey, kids! I know it’s been a long time since I’ve updated this blog or my website. I’ve largely been active only on Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter to the detriment of everything else, but it’s time to get craigmahoney.com back up and running and turn it into a fully armed and operational artist/entertainer website. I’ll have all sorts of new goodies coming in the next few weeks, with tons of new art and prints, a new podcast, a streamlined online store, and some new stand-up shows as well. I’m very excited for 2018 and hope you enjoy the ride with me. In the meantime, here’s a little something from me to you: “Santa George” (5″ x 7″ colored pencil and watercolor)
To commemorate both Shark Week and the 4th of July shark attacks on Amity Island, I’m having a weekend long sale on my limited edition Jaws 40th Anniversary prints, all signed and numbered from a run of 40, as well as some original drawings. Everything’s only $35-$75. E-mail email@example.com to purchase.
“It’s all psychological. You yell barracuda, everybody says, “Huh? What?” You yell shark, we’ve got a panic on our hands on the Fourth of July.”
Little darling, it’s been a long, cold, lonely winter here at Craig Mahoney studios. Very productive art-wise, but also filled with more than its fair share of financial setbacks and plain-old bad luck. So, from now until tomorrow night (Fri, Feb 6th), I’m having a fire sale on all original art currently in my inventory. Just e-mail me at firstname.lastname@example.org with your best offer on the piece you like, and you may have a nice piece of pop culture or sports memorabilia to hang on your walls. Check them all out below (more after the break):
“Brady’s 4th” 8″ x 10″ colored pencil on grey-toned paper.
“JOIN ME” 36″ x 24″ acrylic on canvas
“The Chairman Of The Board” 24″ x 36″ acrylic on canvas
Here’s a holiday window display I did at the ModCup coffee shop in the Jersey City Heights. It’s a tribute to Christmas movies that are a little more offbeat, dark, or rarely thought of as Christmas movies. I started with the idea of John McClane jumping from a giant explosion as though the tree itself were the Nakatami building, and the whole thing grew (no pun intended) from there. All in all, it’s 15 separate hand-drawn illustrations on a hand-built cartoon tree. The movies are: The Nightmare Before Christmas, Edward Scissorhands, Die Hard, Lethal Weapon, A Christmas Story, Gremlins, Scrooged, Home Alone, Iron Man 3, Trading Places, Jingle All The Way, Ghostbusters 2, Batman Returns, Bad Santa, and The Empire Strikes Back.
You can check it out in person at 479 Palisade Ave in Jersey City, NJ from now through New Year’s, and see more detailed photos at the end of this post.
